The 11th international conference of the french society for movement and sport sciences (ACAPS)
The 11th international conference of the french society for movement and sport sciences (ACAPS) will be held in Paris, October 26-28, 2005. The conference will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the society. ACAPS is the primary French society for Kinesiology. It is a multidisciplinary association of scholars and researchers from various fields of behavioral sciences and related professions. The Society aims at promoting the scientific study of human behavior, facilitating the dissemination of information in the field, and improving the quality of research in areas such as motor development, motor control and learning, cognitive and clinical psychology, as well as human and social sciences. ACAPS is a bilingual society (English-French).500 participants from all over the country and abroad (Belgium, Switzerland, Canada, Japan, USA, Germany, Spain, Italy, Australia, etcŠ) are expected, with more than 450 contributions (posters, talks, symposia, keynote lectures) in various sub-themes of movement and sport sciences (psychology, ergonomics, psychophysics, neurophysiology, biomechanics, exercise physiology, etc).
